Boulder, Colorado

Coming from South Florida, this was a sign I wouldn't see very often.
So back in May, while visitng Boulder, Colorado, I had to take
a picture of it.

Below are some of the other pictures I took during my visit.

The drive from the Denver airport towards Boulder gives you a glimpse of the
regions back yard. The mountains. Standing tall, snow capped watching over
the cities below.

Pretty darn cool, I must say.

The Boulder area abounds with parks and public places. The walking and
bicycle trails are everywhere. A bicycle in South Florida is kind of
like a calling to the grim reaper. In Boulder, a bicycle exudes life.

Oh, that's me on the rock face. (middle picture)

Okay, never having seen snow, other than in movies and during a short
trip to Seattle, Washington, going up to the Sky resorts with two great
friends was beyond description. The fun we, or at least I had, will last me
a long while. Or, it will further fuel my desire to leave Sunny South Florida.

The four pictures above were taken at the Eldora Sky slopes. Yes, in May
the snow was still there. Good for us. Now my goal is to SEE snow
fall. And then play with it. And maybe even make a better snow man.
Not that my first was so bad. :)
Look ma', no hands!!

Looking down at Boulder from up on Red Rocks park.
This Red Rocks park was the last bit of Boulder I saw before heading back
down to flat... argg, SUNNY South Florida.

Ooh, Boulder has big kiddies. Do we even
have warning signs for our friendly alligators?
